My name is Yury Alvarez. I am a local tica from Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. I live here with my 10 year old son, Bastien and my four dogs (Mia-Tahiti- Fiji- Teahopoo)

I have worked as a nanny for many years in varying capacities all around Costa Rica as well as internationally. 13 years ago I decided to start my own childcare services company called Sunshine Babysitting Costa Rica.

I have a background in business(accounting ) and have spent many years working with high profile families all around Costa Rica.

My kind and friendly disposition lends itself to great relationships with children and parents alike! My goal for Sunshine Babysitting is to bring more than just childcare – but to bring peace of mind.

I understand that leaving your precious little ones with someone you don't know well can be stressful. That's why I’m dedicated to providing families with reliable, qualified, and caring babysitters who will bring sunshine (and a little fun!) into your days, nights and weekends.

● CPR and First aid

● International Surfing Association Coaching and Instructing

● ISA/ILS International Surf and SUP Instructor Aquatic Rescue and Safety Course

● international swim instructor certified.

I am also certified as an international lifeguard by Safety Society
